With Copilot Free, you get:
2,000 code completions per month: Suggestions while you’re coding to save time.
50 chat messages per month: You can ask questions, get explanations for existing code, or identify bugs.
Copilot Free supports two AI models:
Claude 3.5 Sonnet by Anthropic
GPT-4o by OpenAI
These models allow you to do more than just coding:
Execute edits across multiple files.
Use third-party AI agents for specific tasks.
Build your own extensions to extend Copilot’s functionality.
