Amazon Simple Email Services (SES) just got better with the introduction of Deterministic Easy DKIM (DEED). This new feature takes the hassle out of managing DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) for SES customers and independent solution vendors (ISVs).
DEED builds on the existing Easy DKIM, but with a big improvement, it works seamlessly across all commercial AWS Regions. Unlike before, where Easy DKIM required DNS lookups specific to the region where your identity was verified, DEED allows you to use the same identity in multiple regions without having to tweak your DNS settings. This means fewer headaches and a much lower risk of errors when managing your domains.
Why DEED is a game-changer:
For global businesses: If you’re running multinational operations, DEED lets you share domain identities across all your regional SES setups. No need for extra DNS changes—just set it up and go.
For ISVs: If you manage email sending for your customers, DEED makes it easy to move operations to new regions without bothering the domain owner to make DNS updates.
Starting today, DEED is available in all commercial AWS Regions where SES operates.
