AWS Step Functions Just Got Even Smarter for Data Processing
AWS Step Functions is making it easier to process large datasets with new enhancements to its Distributed Map feature.
You can now work with more file formats, including JSON Lines (JSONL) and various delimited file types like semicolon- and tab-delimited files, all stored in Amazon S3.
On top of that, new output transformations give you better control over how results are formatted, making it easier to integrate with other systems.
In case you're not familiar, AWS Step Functions is a visual tool that helps orchestrate complex workflows across over 220 AWS services.
With this update, you can process a wider variety of data without needing to do a bunch of custom pre-processing. It’s a game-changer for anyone dealing with large-scale data workflows.
